ITP V.013 (JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY ETHICS) SOCIAL JUSTICE: NEW YORK ATTORNEY GENERAL INVESTIGATING BOGUS REVIEWS PAID FOR BY CORPORATIONS

The New York Attorney Generals office are investigating BOGUS online reviews of product paid for by corporations looking to clean up their public image to counteract unfavorable criticism by way of public consumers. Writing "favorable" reviews of product via PAID freelance writers is better known as "Astroturfing", concealing the true source and bias of product via using multiple IP's.

Dubbed "Operation Clean Turf", it is alleged that search engine optimization firms create fake online profiles and have paid freelance writers in Bangladesh, Philippines, Eastern Europe ect to clean up unfavorable consumer opinion .

The New York Attorney Generals office stated 19 firms collectively agreed to pay $309, 000 in fines for violating New York laws against false advertising and deceptive business practices.

Believing all the lies they're telling you, buying all the products they're selling you, them say jump you say how high you're brain dead, you've got another bullet in the head-RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE
ITP V.013 EDITORS NOTE:
"Advertising is legalized lying"-HG WELLS
lol, Aha, they deserved to get busted, they get paid to write phony reviews to offset negative publicity of a product, as that is indeed unethical in journalism. The same corporate douches that would give any one a DMCA take down over an independent review (3rd party video infringement) as that would be censorship.
Let's make a distinction between PR (public relations), advertising, and independent reviews as in real objectivity. No one should be paid by the corporation in question, nor any record label for reviewing product.
ITP's author does not work for any record label, nor conflict of interest PR, (all though I have the ability)  it is either one or the other.
ITP's AUTHOR COMMENTARY ON REVIEW and JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY: ITP's author was a Journalism major at SUNY, as I make a distinction between PR (Public Relations), Advertising and an objective opinion. When I read a consumer report or review, I expect an independent  opinion, not a record labels or corporations assessment of their own artists as record labels can NOT be objective about their own artists or bands. It's amazing how undereducated and ignorant, SHEEPLE (people) can be. Even alot of metal zines accept advertising from labels and you wonder how objective they can really be.

There is nothing wrong with working a job in PR, Advertising. As long as even adverts don't adversely affect as I wouldn't take adverts from potential sources.  However reviews can only be written by those whom are independent of said corporations, record labels and not paid by said corporations.

ITP is PROUDLY independent of the music and product industry as I'm OBJECTIVE (No adverts, not paid by the industry, not paid at all) as I don't allow corporate nor record label censorship nor control.
