NWOBHM warriors SATAN (first EVER North American ritual), VOOR, MEGIDDO, GOATHORN and more extreme and black metal bands TBA.

We are proud to announce you our third band... they have been praised very much by the tape trading underground of the mid 80’s, but unfortunately disappeared after releasing two demos... Behold, VOOR from Jonquière, Québec! They play a punishing black/thrash, characterized by raw vocals and insane solos. They saw their demos re-released as a special vinyl package by NWN! Prods in the states in 2010.

Nous sommes fiers de vous annoncer notre troisième groupe... très prisés par les « tape-traders » du métal underground des années ’80, et disparus après la sortie de deux démos... Voici VOOR de Jonquière! Ce groupe joue un puissant black/thrash métal, caractérisé par un chant primitif et des solos complètements fous. Leurs démos sont ressortis en vinyle par NWN! Prods aux États-Unis en 2010.

Originally from Pembroke, Ontario – and formed in 1999, GOAT HORN was born out of Jason Decay, Brandon Wars and Steel Rider’s love of old Heavy and Doom metal. They released two crushing records, "Voyage to Nowhere" and "Storming the Gates" in the early 2000’s, as well as a killer EP. Unfortunately, the band broke up in 2006, and Jason Decay went on to form CAULDRON. This is a one-off reunion, and GOAT HORN will once again rise from their beer kegs to show us what real classic Canadian metal is all about! Join the Rotten Roll revolution!

Originaires de Pembroke (Ontario) et formés en 1999, GOAT HORN est né de l’obsession de Jason Decay, Brandon Wars et Steel Rider pour le Heavy Métal et le vieux Doom. Wings of Metal est un nouveau festival Metal co-organisé par trois promoteurs (dont Sepulchral Productions), la première édition se tiendra à Montréal, aux Katacombes, les 30 et 31 août. Les deux premières confirmations : Satan, le légendaire groupe de la NWOBHM, qui s’est reformé avec la formation de leur album classique « Court in the Act » et se présentera pour la première fois en Amérique du Nord, et Megiddo, le groupe Black culte de Toronto, qui jouera pour la première fois de son existence et présentera son album The Devil and the Whore dans son intégralité. Wings of Metal is a new Metal festival co-organized by three promoters (including Sepulchral Productions), the first edition will be held at the Katacombes, in Montréal, on August 30-31. The two first announcements: Satan, the legendary NWOBHM act, who reformed with the lineup of the classic “Court in the Act” album and will be playing for the first time in North America, as well as Megiddo, Toronto’s cult BM band, who will be onstage for the first time ever and will play The Devil and the Whore in its entirety.
