EXTREMEFEST FOR EXTREME PEOPLE… May 23 – 25, 2013

2012 marks the unholy birth of the one and only EXTREMEFEST – the first issue of the festival sated the bloodthirst of thousands of extreme metal fans over the course of three days! We partied with big names of the scene and sweated in countless circle pits …over 70 bands with a stylistic variety ranging from black, death, thrash, grindcore all the way to modern deathcore sounds decided to drop by. Unbeatable, you say? Fear not: Bands like BEHEMOTH, KATAKLYSM, LEGION OF THE DAMNED, GRAVE, TANKARD, ENSLAVED and many more will make sure that, on EXTREMEFEST 2013, you`ll get the most brutal party in this solar system!!!

Now, three further bands have been confirmed:

VADER
They are the ultimate legends of Polish death metal: VADER! Named after some “Star Wars” villain (and yes, they`ll play the “Imperial March” at their live shows too!), Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek and his henchmen play brutal old school death metal like there was no tomorrow – and they have ever since 1983! On top of that, VADER are one of the hardest working bands around ( = always on tour) and have recently proved with “Welcome to the Morbid Reich” that they are truly part of the extreme metal elite.

SEPTICFLESH
Hailing from beautiful Athens, SEPTICFLESH have managed in the last couple of years to establish their own code of aesthetics and find their very own distinctive style. Their mélange of technically sophisticated death metal and the elegance of dark / gothic metal always results in majestic songs – they are unmatched at that not only in Greece! Be part of SEPTICFLESH`s “The great mass” at the EXTREMEFEST 2013!

STERBHAUS
The band name STERBHAUS sounds quite German, but those guys are actually hailing from Sweden! The fourpiece from Stockholm was formed in 2007 and immediately started indulging in finest death / thrash. The band already proved its twisted sense of humor with “Hits for dead kids”, but their new album “Angels for breakfast…and god for lunch” ups the ante even more. Loud, dirty, mean, STERBHAUS!
