Domination - The Deathfest was conceptualized in the year 2000 as a platform for the extreme metal talent in the country. In a scene dominated by 'Rock Shows' & the sporadic heavy metal in the 90s, Domination - The Deathfest got together extreme metal bands and fans from across the country, regularly and successfully for 4 editions from 2000 to 2003. Current flag bearers of metal in India like Kryptos, Demonic Resurrection, Exhumation have all played at the fest besides Morticide, Fate, Blasphemy, Acrid Semblance, Disembodied Corpse, Intestinal Butchery, Arcane Ritual, Belial, Abhor, Threinody, Myndsnare and more.

Back after a hiatus of a decade. Domination - Deathfest V is scheduled on the 10th of March 2013.

The final band to be announced for Deathfest V hails all the way from Guwahati in Assam. Insane Prophecy's recently released EP obliterated skulls last year, and their offering of blackened death metal is all set to break some bones. Welcome back to Mumbai Xulfi Nawaz and band!

Get ready for some old school death metal from Ganesh Krishnaswamy, Bharad Ravi,Nolan Lewis (Kryptos) (Kryptos), Avinash Ramchander and Anthony from Witchgoat. Nolan and Ganesh have played the first edition of Deathfest as Kryptos and it's great to have them back!
