MESHUGGAH: VOCALIST (JENS KIDMAN) SICK WITH THE FLU, BAND WILL PLAY WITHOUT HIM

Swedish progressive thrash metal warriors MESHUGGAH have announced vocalist JENS KIDMAN is sick with the flu, and band will continue on their NORTH AMERICAN touring commitments without their vocalist, or at least until JENS KIDMAN feels better.

MESHUGGAH are currently on a NORTH AMERICAN tour with ANIMALS AS LEADERS and INTRONAUT.

(Torrance, CA) – February 5, 2013 – Scion AV has again partnered with Sweden’s extreme, technical metal band MESHUGGAH to offer fans Pitch Black: two exclusive, unreleased tracks available as a digital download and as a limited edition 10-inch vinyl record.  For the forthcoming “Ophidian Trek 2013: 2nd Slithering” North American tour – which launches this Monday, February 11th - Scion A/V will also be sponsoring ticket giveaways for each show at http://Twitter.com/ScionAV.  

The Pitch Black digital download is available now for free at www.scionav.com/meshuggahpitchblack  

The limited edition 10” vinyl records will be available each night during the tour at the MESHUGGAH merch table.

“Meshuggah is such a force in metal world. Working with them last year helped develop a great relationship, and led to us work together again,” adds Jeri Yoshizu, manager of sales promotion for Scion.
