ITP V.013 THE MUSIC BUSINESS: CROCODILE ROCK (ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA):Croc Rock sues SLP Concerts over lost fees, moving shows to other venues

Southern Pennsylvania (USA) music venue, CROCODILE ROCK (ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA) are suing concert promoters SLP CONCERTS over lost fees due to moving shows to other venues.   CROCODILE ROCK (ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA)  announced the venue is closing its doors after losing it's liquor license on an appeal.  In the context of CROCODILE ROCK (ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA) closing, many shows already booked are cancelled or have been moved to regional venues (REVERB).

FROM CROCODILE ROCK CAFE:
Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown filed a lawsuit against promoter SLP Concerts, Stanley Levinstone, Adam Vodovsky and Joshua Rittenhouse. Crocodile Rock Cafe is seeking damages stemming from fees paid by fans to Ticketmaster for tickets for shows performed at Crocodile Rock Cafe. "SLP Concerts refuses to disclose the amount of fees collected by them over 5 or 6 years or more on the shows at the Crocodile Rock Cafe" says Joe Clark.

"There could be hundreds of thousands, maybe over a million, in these fees that have never been paid to the Crocodile Rock Cafe and were collected exclusively by SLP Concerts via Ticketmaster. A $25.00 ticket could cost a fan as much as $37.00 and SLP, Stan Levinstone, et. al. and Ticketmaster kept the fees." Clark continues.

The suit will seek disclosure of unreported income that Crocodile Rock was entitled to as the venue, but failed to disclose to Crocodile Rock after many repeated attempts were made to ascertain this unreported income.

Furthermore, we are seeking an immediate injunction against SLP Concerts, Stan Levinstone et. al. from moving shows to other venues when they were scheduled to play at the Crocodile Rock Cafe. These shows were moved arbitrarily and with no notice to the Crocodile Rock causing Crocodile Rock a loss of revenue and tortious interference to our reputation in the international world music community.

Fans should get refunds where purchased ASAP if they have any concern or pay at the door day of show just in case there is no show performed while this matter is under the courts control. Additionally, Crocodile Rock Cafe reserves the right, if it discovers, to seek the Federal Court's protection to seek civil RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) charges.
