LAMB OF GOD: BIG INDIAN RESORT SEMINAR 7/15-19th, 2013 BIG INDIAN, FULL MOON RESORT BIG INDIAN, NY






Richmond, Virginia thrash/metal core warriors LAMB OF GOD will hold a week long seminar with fan band interaction, set to take place 7/16-20, 2013 at BIG INDIAN RESORT, BIG INDIAN, NEW YORK, in an intimate setting, for a limited 170 fans only.

Lamb of God in conjunction with the Full Moon Resort are pleased to announce the Metal on the Mountain Retreat July 15th through 19th, 2013. The retreat to be held at the resort in Big Indian, New York brings together 170 Lamb of God fans in a weeklong interaction with the band in activities aimed at musicians and non-musicians alike. Activities currently planned include:

  • Opening day meet and greet with photos and autograph signings
  • Q&A with the band.
  • Clinics with guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler and drummer Chris Adler
  • Small group instrument lessons
  • Songwriting sessions with all band members culminating in a song writing competition
  • World premiere of the Lamb of God feature film
  • Nightly jam sessions with the band
  • Seminar with album designer Ken Adams on the art of Lamb of God
  • Seminar with tour manager/ soundman Brian Griffin on mixing a live metal band for a concert
  • Motorcycle rides through the country side with bassist John Campbell (Motorcycle rental additional cost)
  • The art of primitive fire building with singer Randy Blythe
  • Casino night with all band members
  • Full Lamb of God concert on closing night including participants from the retreat performing Lamb of God songs
The retreat follows in the footsteps of previous retreats featuring members of King Crimson, the band Umphrey's McGee, members of Megadeth, Testament, Tosin Abasi, and guitarist extraordinaire Paul Gilbert and Friends.
