AS I LAY DYING: CANCEL OUT OF KILLSWITCH ENGAGE TOUR

California metal core warriors AS I LAY DYING have officially cancelled out the bands anticipated U.S. tour with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE.









Last week, AS I LAY DYING vocalist TIM LAMBESIS  was charged with "soliciting an under cover cop to kill his wife" (Trying to hire a "hit man" to kill his wife).

At 2pm PST 5/7/2013, TIM LAMBESIS was taken into custody and arrested while shopping at a store at VISTA WAY in Oceanside, California after an investigation from 5/2/2013. LAMBESIS was charged with :
suspicion of solicitation of another to commit murder.

He was a nice guy. I've had him on my show a couple times over the years. I just spoke to him via "Facebook the last couple months about having him come on to talk about his latest record.

AS I LAY DYING vocalist TIM LAMBESIS has been estranged from his wife MEGGAN since SEPTEMBER of 2012 as they have three adopted children from Ethiopia. According to MEGGAN, TIM LAMBESIS's estranged wife, TIM told her he no longer believed in God and he had multiple affairs.
TIM LAMBESIS owns a recording studio and enjoys fitness.


MEGGAN LAMBESIS states:
“concern me regarding his ability to care for our three children” — ages six, eight, and one, all Ethiopian adoptees — and “he has become obsessed with bodybuilding and spends a great deal of time lifting weights, hanging out in the gym, and being unavailable to the children.” She further alleged that Tim had fallen asleep while he was supposed to be watching the kids at the beach or the pool, that he’d ignore them to text and talk on his cell phone, that he spent thousands of dollars on tattoos and “high-end vehicles,” and that he was away on concert tours about six months a year, had twice visited his then-girlfriend in Florida, and was staying at his parents’ Del Mar Country Club home.”
Meggan Lambesis, who submitted a 2010 tax return showing the couple's $233,000 in gross income, said that she had quit teaching private school and was a stay-at-home mother.


 LAMBESIS  bail was lowered significantly to $250, 000 and then (if bail is made) a GPS monitor.
TIM LAMBESIS's arraignment was set for 5/9/2013 as LAMBESIS plead "Not Guilty" to the charge of "soliciting an under cover cop to kill his wife". 

According to LAMBESIS's defense attorney ANTHONY SALERNO , TIM was "set up by someone at the gym".

MEGGAN LAMBESIS is currently investigating TIM LAMBESIS's assets.


AS I LAY DYING just finished an tour of ASIA as the band unleashed "Awakened" 9/25/2012 via METAL BLADE RECORDS.

In light of recent events, As I Lay Dying will unfortunately not be taking part in the upcoming tour with Killswitch Engage. Given the circumstances, we feel that it is best for the band to be off the road while the current situation gets sorted. We'd like to thank all of our fans for their ongoing support at this difficult time.
