DOOMED: "A few days ago a guy from a respected promo agency offered me a genuine single Pay To Play gig with a very well-known classical doom band in the Baltics. It should cost 1500 Euros!!!!!!!!! Please WHAT??!!"

German death/doom metal warriors DOOMED have commented on the promoter practice of "Pay to Play" or "Buy in" shows.

A few days ago a guy from a respected promo agency offered me a genuine single Pay To Play gig with a very well-known classical doom band in the Baltics. It should cost 1500 Euros!!!!!!!!! Please WHAT??!!
Hahahaha - no - no "hahahaha" - seriously!
First: No Pay to Play with us! Seek out for any wimpy! So pardon, but put offers like that in your ass! We are not whores! Btw: whores obtaining money for their service, they don't pay that they are fucked!
Please don't get me wrong...to be a whore is no shame smile emoticon.

Second: It is a joke (no - THAT IS a shame) to write a band something like that! Unfortunately I had to learn from others had similar things! I could not even quite believe it...
Third: No band, neither the dirtiest punk band, nor the milky Metalcore guys should get involved in such deals! That no one has needed! If so, then they didn't understand what it means to make music! Only again to read: It is not being considered, to become a "superstar" within 2 months and then to let gild your dick, aye?! That never was!
Fourth: If I get again such a despicable bullshit, I call your name!
Last: We really love to play live, continue to be very grateful for sincere and honest bookings, including small budgets. But rather we stop making music than to give us such a nonsense! Thank you!
