ITP V.016 WORLD APOCALYPSE: 50 KILLED IN MASS SHOOTING AT CLUB PULSE IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

Last night, a terrible act of mass murder and hate occurred as at least 50 people were shot dead at CLUB PULSE (LGBTQ CLUB ORLANDO, FLORIDA) by (possible) ISIL terrorist OMAR MATEEN.








OMAR MATEEN was killed by ORLANDO police after he called 911 and pledged allegiance to ISIS.

Governor Scott and City of Orlando have declared a state of emergency.
There are at least 50 dead and 53 wounded in the Pulse nightclub mass shooting.

The Hampton Inn at 43 Columbia Street is where family members will be briefed.

We are dealing with something we never imagined. Since the last update, we have gotten better access to the building, cleared the building. It is with great sadness I share that we have 50 casualties, in addition to the shooter. Because of the scale I have called Governor Scott to request a state of emergency and we are issuing a state of emergency in the City. This allows us to bring additional resources to support our efforts.
Our focus in the coming hours will be identifying the victims and notifying the families. We are setting up a hotline for concerned family members – 407.246.4357. The identification process may take some time. We ask for your patience as we want to be accurate. I continue to be proud of how our community has responded.

Meanwhile the NYPD has placed Patrol and Counter-terrorism resources, including CRC, SRG and ESU personnel, on alert pending further information.
New Yorkers should know that the NYPD has more than 500 officers dedicated solely to terror response, hundreds more to the prevention of incidents, and is constantly working with law enforcement and community partners to counter terror.
