Promoters for UNDER THE BLACK SUN 2017 (BLACK METAL FESTIVAL),  originally set to take place  6/29-7/1/2017 NEAR BERLIN, GERMANY will have to change the festivals 12 year venue as the new location of the festival is T.B.A.








Promoters for UNDER THE BLACK SUN have confirmed MAKE A CHANGE...KILL YOURSELF, MONARQUE, CRYFEMAL, STREAMS OF BLOOD, HETROETZEN, THE RUINS OF BEVERAST,  KULT, NOCTURNAL DEPRESSION, DARKENED NOCTURN, SLAUGHTERCULT, CORPUS CHRISTII, ANGANTYR,  INFERNO and more black metal bands.

UTBS 2017
Alright, back from the country side.
The location we have checked out today is awesome.

Tomorrow is a meeting with the owner of Helenenau and in case they agree to do it, UTBS will be held at Helenenau for the very last time. If not, we have found a new location.

We have some bad news to publish today. We are really shocked but the owner of the UTBS festival area in Helenenau has informed usthat we are not welcome there this year. We tried everything to make it happen that we can stay at our beloved location but every attempt to find a solution was rejected without any further reason. For 12 years, we have been organizing the festival in Helenenau without having any problems… but today we are disaffected since we don't know why and at least why we haven't been informed earlier.

We tried our best to find a new location and there were some interesting ones, but unfortunately unfortunately, they all were occupied.
BUT WE HAVE ALSO GOOD NEWS: UTBS 2017 WILL TAKE PLACE!
The only possible way to make it happen in this short time is the NUKE Club in Berlin. They are willing to help us to make the festival happen. We know, that this is no open air and we are deeply sorry that there is no other possible way. But for us this is the only possibility to solve the situation without cancelling the entire event. We hope you understand the situation and can see that we are more than disappointed about the situatuon ourselves. BUT: Let's make the best of this situation and have a great time at NUKE.

UTBS 2017
Today I´ll check a possible new open air location. Furthermore on Monday I have a meeting with the owners from Helenenau. From a strict NO we are now at the point we are talking again. Cross your fingers.

Thanks a lot for a all the support and ideas that we have received since yesterday. We are still trying to find a solution other than Nuke Club.
One more thing: As there are a lot of rumours floating around regarding the so called Antifa: no, it has nothing to do with that.
