Promoters for REYKJAVIK DEATH FEST, set to take place 5/16th, 17th and 18th, 2019 have changed the festivals name and announced the first few bands for 2019.

After 3 amazing years with Reykjavík Deathfest it's time for a change. We are expanding the festival to include more extreme genres, which we already started this year. To emphasize that change in direction we felt that a namechange was in order. From now on the festival will be known as Reykjavík Metalfest.

In spirit this will be the same festival. The same crew and the same love of extreme music which has always been the driving force behind the festival.

Now, as this very successful third edition of Reykjavík Deathfest draws to an end, we are ready to launch Reykjavík Metalfest by announcing the first nine bands of the 2019 edition.

We thank you for the last 3 years and we will see you all again next year!
