RIC OCASEK, vocalist guitarist of American new wave rock pioneers THE CARS passed away yesterday, 9/15/2019 in his apartment in New York City at 75..














THE CARS unleashed "MOVE LIKE THIS", 5/10/2011 via HEAR MUSIC CONCORD MUSIC GROUP.


 THE CARS disbanded in 1988.

THE CARS Bassist and vocalist BEN ORR  died in 2000.

 THE cars reunited with TODD RUNDGREN replacing (RIC OCASEK) in 2011-2013.

 ITP V.019 EDITORS NOTE: My heart is just breaking. First EDDIE MONEY now RIC OCASEK. THE CARS were pioneers in the 70's and 80's new wave scene and were one of the best pop/rock bands of all time. Great songwriters.

 From Ric’s sons: Our dad was a prolific doodler. His passing was sudden, unexpected, and beyond heartbreaking. Yesterday, we found this last doodle on his armchair. He couldn’t have known what it would end up meaning to us. We love him so much.
