Due to CORONA VIRUS mass gathering restrictions, promoters for TUSKA OPEN AIR 2020, originally set to take place 6/26th, 27th, 28th and 29th, 2020 have POSTPONED the festival.
FROM TUSKA OPEN AIR 2020 PROMOTERS:
This is how it was solved. Pain pitti doesn't spin the summer and Tuska 2020 is cancelled. According to the Finnish government's order on Wednesday 22.4., large public events will be cancelled until the end of July and this also applies to Tuska. The decision is the only right decision. You, dear metal people, are Tuska. The safety and well-being of the public are ahead of everything and Tuska takes care of its lot in fighting the corona mill. There has always been a metal community at the heart of pain, which every member can enjoy being in the festival completely safe. We want this to always be the case, and you will be at the upcoming festival with the full body and soul forces.
And why deny that this doesn't temporarily hurt and the vibes are special, but one thing is for sure: discouraged by this! Let's take a break for a year, listen to the music and train our neck muscles so that in the summer of 2021 my hair will fly and the boots will be even harder. At the moment the best way to support Tuska and the matter of metal is to keep this year's ticket: The ticket bought in Tuska on 2020 is fine on 2021 as such! Have you ever been in a situation where there's already a ticket in your pocket not for the next summer, but for the next summer? A quick calculations even with short math reveals that this means more liquidity for optional refreshments in Tuska 2021.
If you want to return the flag, you can do that too. All ticket-related return practices will be handled by the ticket store you got your pilet from: lippu.fi or They will contact you. If you have any questions about returns, please ask your ticket shop. At the moment, their customer services are highly likely to be crowded, so reserve patience for business. Ticket can be returned to the place of purchase until the end of August. Links to the ticket return forms for each ticket store can be found on our website: https://www.tuska.fi/fi/liput.
Tuska's 2021 programme will be announced later, but work has started and the goal is clear. In the summer of 2021, black is blacker, guitars are cruel and you kept hotter than ever before. We hope you're there. If you are, put your badge below. #tuskafestival
