ABBATH have re-scheduled  RUSSIAN TOUR DATES FOR SUMMER 2022. 

 


 NERVOSA bassist MIA W. WALLACE has re-joined ABBATH and is set to perform and record with both bands.

 In 2019, ABBATH announced he will enter rehab for undisclosed addictions. .ABBATH cancelled the remainder of the bands 2019 SOUTH AMERICAN tour after a disastrous shortened set in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Hellbangers, as you can imagine, organizing this edition in these troubled times feels is quite a challenge. Several bands have recently informed us of their unavailability for the 2022 edition. Indeed, the organization of some international tours is affected by the Covid situation.
Thus, we announce the cancellation of the following artists: The Wildhearts, Powerflo, Obituary, 3Teeth, Belzebubs, Numenorean, Of Mice & Men, Justin(e), Legion of the Damned, Hatebreed and Crowbar. We learned a few days ago that a new 'headliner' could not be present for this 2022 edition: Avenged Sevenfold.
In spite of this setback, we did our best to find alternatives to guarantee a colorful line-up for this anniversary edition and we are now able to announce the addition of 32 new bands to the 2022 line-up.
First of all, we are happy to announce that GOJIRA will close Mainstage 1 on the first weekend, for their only European festival show. What a pride to be able to place at the top of the biggest stage of the festival, a French band!
Joe, Mario, Christian & Jean-Michel, see you on Sunday June 19th.
Concerning the replacement of Faith No More, we have been able to confirm it recently but it will only be announced in April. We find a band that you have been waiting for a long time, for a unique show in European festival this summer and that will have its place as a headliner on Saturday, June 18th on Mainstage 1! So be patient.

Our heart is with all who are suffering today, we wish for art, and not war, to prevail. I hope this can give a little comfort in some way.

DRUDKH: POST VIDEO FOR NEW TRACK "THE NOCTURNAL ONE"


 Ukrainian black metal warriors DRUDKH have posted "THE NOCTURNAL ONE", a stand alone single, unleashed 2/26/2022 via SEASON OF MIST.

Ukrainian black metal stalwarts Drudkh (Official) are now releasing the official music video for the new song, "The Nocturnal One". The video was originally not slated for release until later this year, along with a new record from the band. However, due to the increasingly dangerous situation in their homeland, being situated in the epicentre of the invasion, the band has requested that the video be released immediately as sign of Ukranian resistance.
DRUDKH has always shown unwavering pride for their country through their music. This poignant statement is a testament to their fighting spirit and love for their homeland. The new record and its details will be revealed in time. Due to vinyl plant delays, the album release is delayed until late 2022.
Season of Mist has been in contact with Drudkh over the phone today.
They stated the following:
"Even though we weren't supposed to share any statement or music until later this year, we are grateful to get this new track out here today. It represents HOPE, may it strengthen those who need it."
Our hearts go out to Drudkh and all our Ukrainian artists.

INCINERATION FESTIVAL 2022 5/7/2022 @ ROUNDHOUSE, ELECTRIC BALLROOM, THE UNDERWORLD CAMDEN, THE BLACK HEART, LONDON, ENGLAND: "Dark Funeral refused to perform at Electric Ballroom, the stage they were originally booked to perform on. With the addition of the Roundhouse stage Dark Funeral demanded to play at the Roundhouse, even though the Electric Ballroom is three times the size of their usual headline venue. Moving Dark Funeral to the Roundhouse was logistically unviable, so the band decided to cancel on the festival and their fans."


 INCINERATION FESTIVAL 2022, set to take place 5/7/2022 @ ROUNDHOUSE, ELECTRIC BALLROOM, THE UNDERWORLD CAMDEN, THE BLACK HEART, LONDON, ENGLAND have explained WHY Swedish black  metal warriors DARK FUNERAL have cancelled out of the bands anticipated appearance.

We are deeply disappointed to have to announce that we have reached a situation with the organizer of the Incineration Festival that makes it completely impossible for us to attend. This means that our show on May 7 in London is canceled! We were really looking forward to performing for you but that doesn’t mean that we accept whatever nonsense that comes our way or tolerate contract breaches.
To make things very clear. The organizer is solely responsible for this and this is not something that we take lightly.
We apologize to the people who were waiting for us (we are equally disappointed) and we are looking forward to meeting the great people of England at Bloodstock Festival later this year!
A great festival that honour their agreements and treats their artists with respect!
DARK FUNERAL

We really wanted to maintain decorum and professionalism with the Dark Funeral situation, but with the band having decided to publicly attempt to soil on us, we feel that it must be said.
Dark Funeral refused to perform at Electric Ballroom, the stage they were originally booked to perform on. With the addition of the Roundhouse stage Dark Funeral demanded to play at the Roundhouse, even though the Electric Ballroom is three times the size of their usual headline venue. Moving Dark Funeral to the Roundhouse was logistically unviable, so the band decided to cancel on the festival and their fans.
We remain huge fans of the band musically - they are an incredible band, but it is what it is.

EZKATON: STREAMING "TO THOSE WHO FELL" VIA BANDCAMP


 Ukrainian atmospheric, depressive, black metal warrior EZKATON, via BANDCAMP, are streaming the projects anticipated new release  "TO THOSE WHO FELL", unleashed 2/22/2022 via THE WILD HUNT. 

 

 

 FROM EZKATON:

Due to the last information we are getting - these days may be hot and harmful for Ukrainians and, as the result - for every EU citizen as well.
But I hope - it's not. Our army is strong and we have powerful allies.
I have chosen not the greatest date for To Those Who Fell release, and I hope album name is not going to be prediction.
I've got a lot orders and I don't want to dissapoint fans. But if situation goes crazy - delivery may not work (for known reason).
