DRUID LORD are a death, doom metal band from Orlando, Florida, U.S.A. . DRUID LORD have making waves in the extreme metal scene with a few full lengths and some critically appraised splits.

Here ITP has DRUID LORD'S new release "RELICS OF THE DEAD" .

DRUID LORD'S "RELICS OF THE DEAD" kicks off with the title track with simpler and old school riffing before turning heads for a scorching doom riffs. At 2:22 into "RELICS OF THE DEAD" the band changes riff swirling from one riff to another. At 4:44 into "RELICS OF THE DEAD", .DRUID LORD slow down to a dance of doom as melodic guitars flourish throughout the passage. At 6:30 into "RELICS OF THE DEAD", DRUID LORD speed up the tempo and then close the track with slow riffs.

DRUID LORD'S "THIRTEEN DAYS OF DEATH" segues in with an ominous riffs. At 1:45 into "THIRTEEN DAYS OF DEATH" the band speeds up the tempo seguing into blast beats, then back to a snails crawl slow. At 3:19 DRUID LORD'S blast off at hyper speed with blast beats and everything. At 5:19 into "THIRTEEN DAYS OF DEATH", DRUID LORD' slow down for a sampled spoken word segment and continue on with mid paced riffs to end the track.

DRUID LORD'S "MANGLED AS THE HIDEOUS FEED" bring groovy riffs for a mid tempo banger. "MANGLED AS THE HIDEOUS FEED" features a good solo as the track segues into an atmospheric slow interlude. The riff featured on the slow, closing interlude of DRUID LORD'S "MANGLED AS THE HIDEOUS FEED" reminds me of (slower) SLAYER. .

DRUID LORD'S "NIGHTSIDE CONJURING" is a short,haunting, instrumental acoustic track.

DRUID LORD'S "IMMOLATED INTO ASHES" kicks off with epic riffing into a slow dance of macabre atmosphere and into a mid paced stomp.DRUID LORD'S "IMMOLATED INTO ASHES" segues back into slow as a snail doom THEN. At 3:15, "IMMOLATED INTO ASHES" blasts off into some vicious death metal and excellent riffs and solos. At 4:44 into "IMMOLATED INTO ASHES" slows down again to a mic pace with awesome, emotive guitar solos.

DRUID LORD'S "FESTERING TOMBS" enters with bluesy, slow riffs before picking up the pace. I love how the lead guitars dance in and out of the main riffs. At $:12 into "FESTERING TOMBS", DRUID LORD ride driving riffs soaked in gore and a crusty mid tempo.

DRUID LORD'S "MONARCH MACABRE" is an epic track, featuring mournful, melodic guitars set to a funeral doom pace. Synthesizers invoke a an atmosphere of beauty in darkness as DRUID LORD'S "MONARCH MACABRE" closes.

DRUID LORD'S "RELICS OF THE DEAD" closes with "ETHEREAL DECAY", a short and dramatic organ track ends this awesome release.

DRUID LORD'S "RELICS OF THE DEAD" tells macabre tales of gore, death and decay set to a soundtrack of old school death doom.

DRUID LORD'S "RELICS OF THE DEAD" seems highly influenced by old PARADISE LOST with a touch of 90's death metal for diversity.

I love DRUID LORD'S versatility, the ability to go hard and fast and segue into some awesome doom.
