JOHAN HEGG (AMON AMARTH): "Religious bigotry and misogyny is appalling, no matter what religion." #MahsaAmini

MAHSA AMINI, an Iranian woman was murdered by police for simply breaking "morality codes" for hijabs and conservative forms of women dress.

Allegedly AMINI was beaten to death in Tehran police custody. Tehran police denied the allegations of police brutality and stated MAHSA AMINI died of a heart attacks at 22.

Iran has erupted into protest as Iranian women are burning their hijabs.

Religious bigotry and misogyny is appalling, no matter what religion, but the recent events in Iran, where a young woman is beaten to death for not warning her head scarf in the “correct” fashion, has me shocked and stunned!
