Promoters for MARYLAND DEATH FEST 2024, set to take place 5/23rd, 24th, 25th and 26th, 2024 BALTIMORE, MARYLAND have confirmed reunited OPPRESSOR as they will take the place of TANKARD who cancelled the bands appearance at MDF 2024.

TANKARD will not be able to play because a member in the band needs to undergo surgery in early 2024 and is not expected to be recovered in time to travel to the US for MDF. As this has absolutely nothing to do with visa issues or their ability to enter the US, the decision was made to confirm them for MDF 2025, so consider TANKARD as the first confirmed band for that edition.
OPPRESSOR have reunited and will perform live for the first time in 25 years, exclusively at MDF 2024! They will play all of the favorites from their 90's albums on Friday, May 24th at Power Plant/Market Place.

After 10 years WHITECHAPEL will return, metalcore purists will be pleased with DARKEST HOUR, MENTAL CRUELTY will make the fortress ring with blackened deathcore, while GUILT TRIP with a mix of hardcore metal.
The last three bands in the update are Slovakian "crusters" ČAD, speed/heavy/thrash frontrunners EVIL INVADERS and KAMPFAR with their 30th anniversary set.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that the upcoming U.D.O. Tour of the US & Canada has had to be pushed back to 2024. This decision is due to an insurmountable combination of logistical, cargo, and rental equipment problems which make it impossible for U.D.O. to perform the shows as scheduled.
We are currently working on a new set of dates for 2024 and we will announce the new schedule as soon as possible. All tickets will remain valid for the respective rescheduled shows.

Connecticut, U.S.A. based metal core warriors HATEBREED have announced the band will play the very last show at the legendary CHANCE THEATER, Poughkeepsie, New York, set to take place TONIGHT (SOLD OUT!!) 10/29/2023 with INTERNAL BLEEDING. . 










 HATEBREED unleashed "THE CONCRETE CONFESSIONAL",  5/13/2016 via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.

 

 

 FRANK PALLETT, owner of THE CHANCE COMPLEX in Poughkeepsie, New York has passed away (8/11/2012) at 51. No cause of death has been given.

 

 FRANK PALLETT has owned THE CHANCE since 1994 as has supported local and regional bands giving them gigs with national acts and package bills as support. 

Simply put, without FRANK PALLETT and the CHANCE COMPLEX, there would be no music scene in the Hudson Valley area.  

THE CHANCE has booked many indie and major national and international acts including DAVID BOWIE, BOB DYLAN, OZZY OSBOURNE, TYPE O NEGATIVE, GWAR and many more bands
