Norwegian death metal warriors BLOOD RED THRONE have announced bassist STIAN GUNDERSON will take a break from the band as he has been diagnosed with Leukemia,

BLOOD RED THRONE are set to release "NONAGON", due to be unleashed 1/26/2024 via SOULSELLER RECORDS.

Hi everyone! Stian here! Just wanted to let you know that I unfortunately will have to take a break from performing with Blood Red Throne. As some of you already know I was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I will start my chemotherapy today and in the meantime our vocalist Sindre will handle bass duties as well as vocals in the band. I went out in style and shaved my head in front of the fine people of France on Saturday. Thank you all for the massive support! I’m going to kick this things ass and look very much forward to bang my head with all of you again
