MOTHER OF GRAVES: SIGN RECORD DEAL WITH PROFOUND LORE RECORDS

Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A. based gothic-death doom metal warriors MOTHER OF GRAVES have inked a deal with PROFOUND LORE RECORDS.

MOTHER OF GRAVES unleashed "WHERE THE SHADOWS ADORN", 10/14/2022 via WISE BLOOD RECORDS.

You might have seen the breaking news in Decibel Magazine's "most anticipated albums" feature or from the band and label yesterday, but if not: Congratulations to Mother of Graves for working with Profound Lore Records on their next album! They expect to release the record in autumn of 2024.

I have known about this for a long time. It's an incredible opportunity for the band, and they deserve the additional reach and support they will receive from this highly respected label. I was a cheerleader for this decision from the start, and there is only love between us, absolutely zero bad blood.

That said, it's obviously bittersweet on a personal level. But when I started Wise Blood I literally pictured the label as a potential launch point for regional Midwestern bands to bigger audiences and bigger opportunities. Chris at Profound Lore will love working with authentic, insanely talented gentlemen of this caliber. Mother of Graves and Wise Blood plan to work together again in some capacity in the future. Until then, I'll be their front row fan fighting for the first pressing with the rest of ya.

Much love to MoG for everything we accomplished together. The future is bright for us both.
