FROM BRUTAL ASSAULT AND WHITE WARD:

We are extremely sorry to bring some sad news - White Ward have been forced to cancel all their shows they had planned for 2025, including their planned show at this year's Brutal Assault due to legislative reasons. You can find out more directly from the band's statement:
After the cancellation of the tour of our colleagues from 1914, many of you have asked about the fate of our own tours.
We responded in a positive spirit because we sincerely believed that everything would go as planned. We've partnered with another organization and ministry - those who successfully helped us run a mini-tour last spring, including our appearance at Roadburn Festival. We were almost sure it would turn out well for us.
Until last Friday.
A few days ago we experienced a scary déjà vu. Suddenly, we found ourselves in the same situation as in Spring of 2023. New orders were issued from above, the rules changed overnight without any transition period and we had no chance to defend ourselves. No warning, no discussion space - just a wall, cold and imperishable.
It doesn't make sense to dive deeper into the details. It's just another dark and never-ending rabbit hole.
What we can say now is this: we're cancelling all tours, concerts and festivals planned for this year.
All live activities are suspended indefinitely - until radical changes in the situation allow our return.
We sincerely apologize to our fans, our booking agent Sylvain, all promoters and everyone involved in organizing these tours. It's extremely painful for us. We do not know if we will find the time or strength to work on anything related to WHITE WARD in the near future. After three years of war, we are psychologically exhausted and almost every band member faces personal life challenges. But we'll try.
But one thing is certain: WHITE WARD will live.
And if we survive - unless we burn in a nuclear fire - then we will be back when the light finally penetrates the horizon. And when we return, it will be in a new form, with a new purpose and an unstoppable force carrying our own manifesto.
