ITP V.025 ONLY ONE PER COFFIN: R.I.P. KEVIN RIDDLES (ORIGINAL BASSIST ANGEL WITCH, TYTAN)

KEVIN RIDDLES, original bassist for London, England New Wave Of British Heavy Metal legends ANGEL WITCH have announced original bassist KEVIN RIDDLES has passed away (7/4/2025) to cancer at 68.

ANGEL WITCH have posted the bands anticipated new release "ANGEL OF LIGHT", unleashed 11/1/2019 via METAL BLADE RECORDS.

It is with immense sadness that I have to report that Kevin Riddles, our original bass player passed away on Friday 4th July 2025.

Kevin was a great guy and we remained mates until the end, he will be greatly missed.

Our condolences to his wife Julie.

It is with great sadness that we have to inform you all of the passing of the one and only Kevin Riddles, not only the bass player and founding member of Tytan but also a great friend, much loved band mate and all round good guy.

We are all utterly devastated.

Kevin "Kev" Riddles passed away peacefully in hospital in the early hours of Friday morning 4th July 2025

An absolute legend in the truest sense of the word, a larger than life character, an incredible and dedicated musician and a very fine and wonderful human being.

Rest easy big fella.

Our condolences go out to fans, friends, family and espcially his wife Julie Riddles after hearing about the passing of Kevin Riddles.

We enjoyed sharing the stages with TYTAN original nwobhm and Kev Riddles' Baphomet.

A wonderful guy with so much passion for his music.

Coincidence or maybe not or a sign ? We started our show yesterday in Tivoli with the song Angel Witch before coming onstage . Perfect way to honor this man looking back at it.
