We’re excited to announce that Blaze Bayley will headline the Maidenville stage on Friday night at EddFest this summer!

Blaze: “I’m so excited to be invited to headline Friday night at EddFest, celebrating 50 years of Iron Maiden, I am so proud of my two albums with the band and I’m really looking forward to playing some of the songs that we recorded together. Can’t wait to see you all at the hallowed grounds of Knebworth!”

Steve has also invited Gypsy’s Kiss, the band he formed in 1974 with singer and guitarist, David Smith, to perform on the Maidenville stage on Friday. As the very first band Steve ever played with they were an instrumental part of Steve’s journey to form Iron Maiden a year later.

Steve: “Having the opportunity to put together our very own festival at Knebworth, and celebrate 50 years of Iron Maiden, has given me a chance to bring together friends past and present and create a really special weekend for the fans.

I’m very pleased that Blaze is able to join us and perform some of the songs we wrote and recorded in the 90s. He has been a big part of Iron Maiden’s career, and I know the fans will be really excited to see him on stage at EddFest. It’s also great to have Gypsy’s Kiss playing with us at Knebworth too. They were a big part of my musical heritage and it’s really exciting to have them play at the Maidenville stage.”

Camping ticket holders for the only UK headline show in 2026 will be able to access the EddFest site on the Friday night, the day before regular ticket holders. Wow! "The Everlasting Shadows" has been out on most streaming platforms for a week now and your responses have been somewhat overwhelming for us. Your kind words mean a lot to us and we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the support.

We know that the album is missing from some platforms, like YT Music, and we don't know when it will be released there as we are putting it out via Distrokid and we can't control the releases in detail. It will be out on all platforms in due time.

We are also looking into getting it out on Bandcamp.  Can't say when, but we'll let you know when it's out there.

Projections sees Godthrymm continue to develop and broaden their sound even further, and building upon the cornerstones of Distortions. Now with an expanded lineup which includes keyboardist co-vocalist Catherine Glencross, bassist Bob Crolla and new second guitarist Kris McLaughin, Projections is GODTHRYMM’s most layered, varied and complex release yet, all while still upholding the colossal emotionally charged heavy doom backbone that has defined the core of the band’s sound.

On March 27th, Scotland's favorite brutal party slam band Party Cannon will release their new EP, Subjected To A Partying, via Unique Leader Records. Party Cannon bassist Clankenstein states: "We are going where no slamming death metal band has gone before – Nintendo 64.

That's right, it's time to get N or get out. To celebrate Daryl 'The Frogman' Boyce's first release as our new vocalist, we decided to make it something truly special, and there's nothing more special than a console that's lifespan ended in 2001. Vominic Stonebones painstakingly designed and ported the cartridge himself. The Frogman sounds like unfettered pressurized sewerage pouring all over these tracks, and we couldn't be happier with how disgusting these vocals are, it's a new era of Party Slam.

"It's been a mental year for Party Cannon – played every festival ever, toured non-stop, new vocalist, the official addition of a skull man to the band – so we wanted to give you all a taste of the new low the band has sunk to rather than making you wait 7 years for a new album (again).

"We took a slightly different approach to writing this EP, we distilled our sound down to its four main components– slam, goregrind, early 2000s brutal death metal, and NYDM – and wrote a song that focused on each of those styles while still retaining the Party Slam sound. So one song is slam focused, one is goregrind etc. As a spicy treat, we also invited some of our friends to join in on the dumbassery – the EP features remixes from low IQ legends Kmac2021, Frontierer and Ritual Studio.

"As a bonus, we've released the live video of 'Human Slime' at Obscene Extreme 2025 on the Unique Leader Youtube channel today. I do not believe you will find a more debauched or IQ damaging live video anytime soon. You may wish to wear to goggles while watching it.

Flowing Downward is proud to join forces with MALIST (Malist) for the publication of their upcoming album "Eternal Echo of the Fall", set for release on June.

The Tolkien-inspired band's prolific career is now at its sixth record, with the previous ones released by excellences such as Northern Silence Records and Avantgarde Music. The quest is all but accomplished: although started as a solo project, MALIST has now a full line-up and is ready to bring its majestic and dark music on stage.

Riff driven and immediate, MALIST's style is rooted in the best Atmospheric Black Metal imprint, although experimenting with and preserving the same melodic core as the previous works.

First single "Days of the Eclipse" will be made public next week, on April 3rd 2026.
