SHINING: NO NEW SONG ONLINE, SHINING TO RELEASE SPLIT 7" WITH MONUMENTUM

Swedish depressive black metal warriors SHINING have sent this statement on WHY the bands has not posted a new MP3 track from the bands anticipated new release "Redefining Darkness",  due to be unleashed 10/29/2012 on SPINEFARM RECORDS.

FROM SHINING:
We are not allowed to put a song online for many reasons.
Reasons I have NO interest in sharing with you. We have made the most sinister album of our career and if you want to hear it then buy it for fucks sake and stop fucking around asking us for something we can't do.
I found one way to give you a small taste of what's coming though. A mere fraction of one of the songs. To do this we HAD to put something visual to it as well, and as you all know, I am a man of contrasts, so I present to you Miss Katze Kvarforth.

Shining will team up with Monumentum for a very special 7” split between your beloved death-squadron and the Italian legends.
On the split both bands deliver never-before-released material: the split'll include Shining’s bleak vision of an old Bay Laurel song and Monumentum's interpretation of PJ Harvey's dusky classic "The River".
The EP will be strictly limited to three hundreds copies and will be available from the Shining Legions store.
Pre-orders for the EP will start soon, with an expected release date in early November.

The cover for the Shining / Monumentum split 7" is now visible, though the 7" itself is not yet open for orders.
