Rush, Public Enemy, Deep Purple Nominated for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Voting open to fans for the first time

The ROCK and ROLL HALL OF FAME committee have announced the 2013 nominees, and for accounts, all four of these bands should be in the U.S. ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME: RUSH, DEEP PURPLE, rap pioneers PUBLIC ENEMY and NWA. For the first time EVER, in the U.S. ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME history, the fan balloting IS in effect,  as YOUR vote counts:

ITP V.012 EDITORS NOTE: ITP: V.012 author is not usually trusting or into mainstream ego stroking music events and awards ceremonies such as the GRAMMIES or (GRANNIES) or the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME. However, I'll admit, with fan balloting, I'm STOKED for RUSH, DEEP PURPLE, PUBLIC ENEMY and NWA, my generation indeed. If I could, I would vote for all three, RUSH, DEEP PURPLE and PUBLIC ENEMY, and I'm NOT playing the neutral role on this one. DEEP PURPLE's late keyboardist JON LORD is a huge influence for me on the keys, RUSH has been a huge influence both lyrical and regarding progressive rock and metal leanings. YES, all of us whom grew up listening to old school hip hop and rap are STOKED that PUBLIC ENEMY are nominated, as PUBLIC ENEMY's lyrical black empowerment spoke to me in ways that only civil rights could, and "the beats and the lines were dope".Compton, California rap pioneers NWA, in an ironic twist versus the censorship the rap group endured, have been nominated via the establishment. NWA were also influential rap pioneers, a CNN into the dark aspects of urban culture, exposing police brutality,  gang war fare and living conditions. NWA morphed into successful and influential solo and production projects, DR DRE, ICE CUBE, REN ect.
KRAFTWERK would also get a nod via ITP V.012 for the projects indelible influence on techno and electronic music.
