LAMB OF GOD: PROMISE NEW STAGE PRODUCTION FOR ANTICIPATED TOUR

Virginia,USA thrash metal warriors LAMB OF GOD have promised new stage production on the bands anticipated U.S. tour with HATEBREED and IN FLAMES.

Originally, LAMB OF GOD scheduled a (AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2012) tour with GOJIRA and DETHKLOK as that tour was cancelled due to RANDY BLYTHE's incarceration in Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC and the uncertainty of when BLYTHE's bail would be accepted.
LAMB OF GOD vocalist RANDY BLYTHE  was arrested 6/28/2012 in the CZECH REPUBLIC and was charged with bodily harm in the 4th degree in connection with the (2010) death of a stage diving fan (Daniel Nosek) at a Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC concert. BLYTHE was released on $400, 000 bail 8/3/2012 as his case is pending for December.
LAMB OF GOD unleashed the bands latest studio effort "Resolution" 1/24/2012 on EPIC/ROADRUNNER RECORDS.

FROM LAMB OF GOD (VIA LAMB GOAT amd ALLAXESS):

Lambgoat.com recently caught up with Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler to talk about the band’s forthcoming U.S. tour with In Flames and Hatebreed. A couple of excerpts from the chat can be found below.

Adler revealed that fans should expect a Lamb Of God stage show like never before: “…most of the tours we’ve done in the past, we’ve filled the stage up with amps and done the classic ‘big heavy metal band’ kind of production. This time, we decided to do something entirely different,” he said. “We’re putting more money than we ever have into the production. We’re bringing out all kinds of neat little tricks.”

However, Adler added: “There’s not going to be any lasers or dragons or anything like that, but we definitely are investing more into the show than we ever have before. We’re trying to make it certainly an event every night for everybody to come down and try to do something special that we haven’t done before.”

Adler went on to explain why Lamb Of God haven’t put on a big stage show in the past: “…you never know what’s going to work and what’s going to flop or if this is our last tour. You spit out an album, and the first week sales are crappy, the record label drops you and you’re gone…for a long time, I think we were like, ‘Oh, there’s no way this is going to last another three or four years. If we can get out and play a show and make a little money to save for the college fund, let’s do that now.’”

After seven albums and more than 15 years in the business, Lamb Of God nest firmly atop of the metal world and now feel more assured of their future: “Now, I think we’ve gotten to a point where the seventh record that we’ve done has done as well as any previous record we’ve done,” Adler said. “So we have to really stop ignoring the fact that we have a career doing this, and instead of just going out and playing the songs, I think we need to start investing in the show and bringing things up to par with what our fans probably expect to see us do. Not to say we’re making up for shows we’ve done in the past, but I think it’s just time we have to realize that we’ll probably be around for a while, and step it up a little bit.”

Adler concluded by naming the band, past or present, he would most like to tour with: “You know, I have tried for 10 years to put a tour together with Meshuggah, who I absolutely love. I love them from very early on. We’ve played many shows with them and get along great with the guys. They are fun guys, and I still think they are one of the most important metal bands of the century. I’m going to keep trying. We keep making offers to them, and we’re always constantly at the opposite ends of our record schedules. They are in the process of being in the studio, while we’re just beginning the touring process. I think at some point, the timeline will line up and I can’t wait. I think that tour will just be devastating.”
