LAMB OF GOD vocalist RANDY BLYTHE has kept his promise and is in court today for his trial as he has been charged with manslaughter (or bodily harm in the 4th) in relation to the 5/2010 death of stage diving fan (DANIEL NOSEK) PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC.
Last DECEMBER, LAMB OF GOD vocalist RANDY BLYTHE was officially indicted on manslaughter charges (bodily harm in the 4th degree) in relation to the 2010 death (at the now CLOSED, ABATON,Prague, Czech Republic) of a stage diving fan, DANIEL NOSEK.
Prague, Czech Republic court now has officially set a trial date (2/4/2013) RANDY BLYTHE has pleaded innocent and vowed to return to court to clear his name. Regarding RANDY BLYTHE's manslaughter charges (bodily harm in the 4th degree), BLYTHE paid $400,000 in bail in Prague, Czech Republic court.
RANDY BLYTHE criticized the venue (ABATON) security and also stated in court today, "The death of a fan is heartbreaking, I’m not a man who runs from his problems, but I do not wish to be punished and suffer the consequences of an act I did not commit.”
LAMB OF GOD drummer Chris Adler and manager LARRY MAZER have also made the trip with RANDY BLYTHE to PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC.
RANDY BLYTHE's trial (2/4/2013) will be a four day ordeal via a panel of judges as he could be sentenced to 5 to 10 years in prison. RANDY BLYTHE could appeal to the Supreme Court if he loses a judgement against him.

PRAGUE, Czech Republic (WTVR) – Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe’s manslaughter trial got underway today in the Czech capital of Prague, with day one focusing on the frontman’s own testimony.
Wearing a suit and sporting a new short haircut, Blythe arrived in court flanked by a posse of cameramen. After taking a seat next to his legal team, the 41-year-old was formally read his charge by the state attorney.
He is accused of pushing a fan off the stage during a concert in Prague in 2010. The fan, 19-year-old Daniel Nosek, later died of head injuries.
