ITP V.013 NY VENUES: MADISON SQUARE GARDEN TOLD TO VACATE IN TEN YEARS

Is there nothing sacred in the "Big Apple"..The worlds "Most  Famous Arena", Madison Square Garden has been told to vacate in ten years regarding the arenas 45 year run on 34th str., Manhattan, NYC, NY.
MADISON SQUARE GARDEN has existed in five locations since 1879.

By a vote of 47-1, the (New York) city council voted to extend the arenas special operating license
for only 10 years as MSG preferred 15.

However, Brooklyn's new arena BARCLAYS hosting the (basketball) NETS and soon the (hockey) ISLANDERS have been outselling MADISON SQUARE GARDEN events.
New York City has plans to renovate and redevelop  Penn Station, the subway stop at 34th str.

JAMES DOLAN, management at MADISON SQUARE GARDEN plans a $968 million dollar overhall of the arena, closed during the sporting off season.

ITP V.013 EDITORS NOTE:We're Hoping MSG will stay in Manhattan and the NY KNICKS (basketball) and NY RANGERS (hockey) will bring home some championships.Great bouncers during rock and metal events, always a good time.
