The Norwegian Film Institute just granted us approx. 32.000 Euros for further development of the documentary. Hell yes!

Plot Outline

Satanism. Murder. Suicide. Church Burnings. This is what brought the Norwegian black metal genre fame in the early 90´s and fanned its popularity far and wide. Its critics tend to lump all fans and artists into a single demonic pigeonhole, but a closer look into the minds, hearts and homes of those who play the music reveals a wide range of motives that are based on complex political, cultural and social factors.
