Promoters for STELLA NATURA 2013 "The Light of Ancestral Fires II" FESTIVAL, set to take place 9/20-22, 2013 @ Shinneyboo Creek Cabins in Soda Springs, California have stated this festival is STILL ON, despite the death of the promoters mother. 

Promoters for STELLA NATURA 2013 have confirmed ESOTERIC, LOSS, WADRUNA, VELNIAS, JARBOE, WORM OUROBORUS, STAR GAZER and more..

The 2013 STELLA NATURA: "The Light of Ancestral Fires II" FESTIVAL will be ESOTERIC, WADRUNA and STARGAZER's first U.S. appearances.

Dear friends,
It has been one week since my mother unexpectedly passed away. I am so grateful for all the help that has come forward to assure that the festival will continue. If it were not for the understanding of the artists, staff and friends, their willingness and ability to go the extra mile, the festival as a whole would have suffered severely. I also cannot express in words how grateful I am to all who have consoled me personally over the past week.

I thank you, the community, for your help in this difficult time. I am looking forward to making Stella Natura 2013 the best show it can possibly be. My mother always wanted to attend, and this year I know she will finally be able to in spirit.

I recognize that my loss this year is not the only loss felt throughout the community. It seems like many of us have recently lost loved ones. I will have an altar set up near the main stage for my mother—for those of you who have lost someone close, I welcome you to add a memorial item representing your beloved friends and family who have passed so they too may can revel in our festivities.

My mother was passionate about music. Without her unending encouragement and belief in me from day one, I never would have had the confidence or ability to produce such an event.

I can't wait to see everyone gathered together for Stella Natura—It's a pleasure to meet our attendees, please do not hesitate to say hello.

May our gathering next weekend serve as a torch in the darkness to all kind souls.

Attached is a picture of my mother with Halo Manash (line-up circa 2009), shortly after the conclusion of the very first Stella Natura—and shortly after their acquisition of new hats! She grew very fond of those men, often referring to them as her "Finnish Sons."
