CLIFF BURTON: 27th ANNIVERSARY OF METALLICA's BASSIST's DEATH

CLIFF BURTON (METALLICA BASSIST): 2/10/1962-9/27/1986:
Today marks a day of infamy as today is the 27th anniversary of late METALLICA bassist Cliff Burton's death. Burton was killed in a tour bus crash while on the road with METALLICA in Ljugby Sweden.

R.I.P. Cliff, the world ain't the same with your bass, and bellbottoms, you rule bro \m/

CLIFF BURTON's unique playing style and songwriting skills was an extra and potent weapon in METALLICA's arsenal. BURTON played bass without a pic, sounding often like a guitarist with effects.
BURTON's no frills, no sell out attitude and leadership skills will be missed.

Bell bottoms and all, CLIFF BURTON is missed and idolized.
