ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME 2015 INDUCTEES: LOU REED, JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS, GREEN DAY

The ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME have announced the class of  2015 INDUCTEES, as hard rock and metal were NOT represented this year.

Congrats to native New Yorkers LOU REED, JOAN JETT and THE BLACKHEARTS and California pop/punk trio GREEN DAY inducted into the 2015 ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME.

STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN won the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME 2015 FAN BALLOTING with NINE INCH NAILS at second place over all. WAR beat out GREEN DAY via fan balloting as STING, N.W.A. and KRAFTWERK lost the fan balloting listed behind GREEN DAY.

FROM ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME:
Make some noise for the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees: Paul Butterfield Blues Band, the "5" Royales, Green Day, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Lou Reed, Ringo Starr, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble and Bill Withers! #RockHall2015

FROM LOUDWIRE:
How did Nine Inch Nails get 13.1 million fan votes (more than inductees Green Day and Joan Jett combined) but NOT make it into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Because your vote practically means nothing! Details here: http://loudwire.com/nine-inch-nails-rock-and-roll-hall-of-fame-fan-voting/

FROM BANGER FILMS:

Not that any Hall of Fame decision should ever surprise us anymore but it sure is fun to argue about.

Another year without Maiden, Priest or Deep Purple inducted.
