MARIO MAGLIERI, owner of legendary Los Angeles, Hollywood, California (U.S.A.) bar, restaurant, clubs THE RAINBOW BAR AND GRILL and THE WHISKEY A GO GO passed away 5/4/2017 at 93.

Dear Rainbow friends and family, it is with great sadness to announce the passing of our beloved Mario Maglieri.
Owner and founder of The Rainbow Bar And Grill and The Whisky a Go Go.
He passed this morning while surrounded by loved ones.
We will announce services shortly.
We ask that you please allow the family time to grieve.

Memorial services for Mario Maglieri will be held on Sunday May 28th. Memorial Day weekend. Beginning at 1pm, at the Rainbow Bar and Grill.
Remembering.
Mario Mikeal Maglieri
Born 1924 February 7th in Seppino,Italy
Immigrated to the United States at age of four
Ran various successful restaurants and clubs in Chicago until moving to Los Angeles with his beloved family where he started the Rainbow Bar and Grill, The Roxy Theater, and The Whisky A Go-Go. Each of which went on to make history in their own right.
Over the decades Mario helped hundreds of artists get their start, and none of them have ever forgotten him.
He is survived by his wife Scarlett and his son Mikeal, and his grandson Mikeal Jr.
Mario Maglieri was a legend, and legends never die.
