14 years ago today we lost PETER STEELE, bassist/vocalist for Brooklyn, New York, City, New York, U.S.A. based gothic, doom, metal warriors TYPE O NEGATIVE.

I can't not believe Pete has been gone 14 years. I know so many are posting today, so I am jumping on that band wagon, sorry. They are possibly the best band I had ever toured with, not only because the music is personal, but because they were such genuine, down to earth people, not rockstars, no ego. I remained in contact with Josh and Johnny and I am honoured to get the chance to spam them now and then..... Not had any contact with Kenny, which is a shame because I still have the Nightmare Before Christmas choker he got me for my birthday on tour and I used to love playing pool with him.. and losing every game. Very good memories. I say it every year, touring with them and being in their space was a dream come true for us (COF). So much more to say, the before, the during and the after.... All of them, so special. For Pete.
