U.S. thrash metal legends MEGADETH have announced the bands anticipated re-scheduled SUMMER 2021 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES WITH LAMB OF GOD, TRIVIUM and IN FLAMES.

KILL TOWN DEATH FEST 2020 9/3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, 2020 COPENHAGEN, DENMARK: POSTPONE 2020 FESTIVAL

Due to CORONA VIRUS mass gathering and travel restrictions, promoters for KILL TOWN DEATH FEST 2020, originally set to take place 9/3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, 2020 COPENHAGEN, DENMARK have POSTPONED the festival until 2021.

We are sad to inform you that we have had to make the decision to postpone Kill-Town Death Fest VIII – “10 Years of Death” until 2021. The new dates will be 2nd – 5th September 2021 and the festival will take place at Pumpehuset in inner city Copenhagen.
We are so sorry for the long wait and no follow-up information from our side, but we have been waiting for the Danish Government to make an official announcement about the assembly restrictions for concerts and venues. So far it’s still up in the air, but we have decided that we can’t wait any longer and we have therefore been forced to make a decision. Based on the way things are going right now, we don’t foresee that travel between continents and also internally in Europe will be possible to an extent where we can complete our line-up and also making it very difficult and expensive for our international ticket holders to make it here for the festival. Therefore we have been forced to postpone the festival for next year as much as it breaks our hearts.
On the bright side of things, every single band scheduled to play this year’s edition of KTDF have agreed to play the 2021 edition instead, so the line-up will be the same 1:1! We are very happy that all bands are able to commit to be part of this great celebration of international death metal here in Copenhagen once again! As much as we were looking forward to this year’s edition, we are now exited that it will at least take place in the same form in September 2021.
As you may have noticed with the updated line-up poster, we have a new logo. The new logo interpretation is made by our artist Rahma P. Murliawanti aka Gutslaughter (@gutslaughter) from Indonesia! Rahma will handle all new illustrations and artwork from now on, so please go and check out her great work and give her a like on one of her pages.
For all you people who were so fortunate to get a ticket for this year’s event, we would like to offer you the following options:
-If you plan to attend Kill-Town 2021, just hold on to your ticket(s) as your current ticket(s) will still be valid for next year's festival.
-If you wish to have your ticket(s) refunded, please contact us at info@pumpehuset.dk before September 1st 2020. Billetto will then refund your purchase within 21 working days.
All the refunded tickets will be put back on sale in September 2020. Date and more information will follow.

Frontman Dez Fafara says about “Iona” and the demons that inspired the track:
"Iona is unlike any other DEVILDRIVER song we’ve put out. From the frantic verses to the haunting chorus, this song is another move forward to push our sound and the listener's ears into the fray! The chorus, “she carries a black rose, effigy from a story closed", tells the story of the long dead ghost of Iona and her obsession with death represented by the black roses in her hands – each one the soul of someone she’s taken from this life on a lonely dark road, assimilating their souls into black roses, which she carries for eternity.
This theme relates to myself and “Dealing With Demons” in that, often times, we as people have a hard time “letting go” of things. This can be applied to relationships, death, and so on. Iona carrying the black roses symbolizes her inability to move on – always seeking revenge. The past is exactly that – the past – it’s important to let go and not be stuck in a perpetual loop of living in it."

Due to CORONAVIRUS mass gathering restrictions, DUTCH DOOM DAYS 2020 is cancelled for this year.

DUTCH DOOM DAYS will resume in 2021.
