Illdisposed is not politically engaged. We distance ourselves from all extremist views, including Nazism, both as a band and as individuals. No one who has ever been in contact with Illdisposed as a friend, colleague, partner, or fan can say that Illdisposed has made actions or statements that are Nazi and degrading to other people. Neither as a band nor as individuals.

Our partners receive daily and systematic inquiries seeking to associate us with publications with extreme and racist content, thereby creating an agenda to cancel our shows. Other bands booked for the same shows are also contacted with the intention of being canceled. We have been in contact with our lawyers for several weeks now, going through the preparatory steps of a lawsuit and data collection for this. It will be a long and bureaucratic process. We have been advised by the same lawyers not to speak out.

However, we can write the following:

Illdisposed and individual band members are not behind any publications or reissues of any forms of music lyrics/texts with rabid views. We do not know who is behind the publications, and we have difficulty finding out about them. We naturally distance ourselves from such and similar publications.

We hereby state our final word on this matter and look forward to meeting you and playing for you, as we have done for the past 35 years.
