Lyon, France: French students rioted over labor laws and pension issues similar to the riots over housing projects a few years earlier.
EDITORS NOTE: Kinda weird and funny that 18 year old French snotty kids are rioting over
"retirement".

FROM SOMEWHERE ON THE NET:
Hundreds of thousands of protesters have taken to the streets across France in defiance of a government plan to raise the retirement age.
The latest action follows a wave of nationwide strikes as president Nicolas Sarkozy tries to stave off their worst recession in 70 years.
Scuffles broke out between demonstrators and riot police despite organisers' pleas for a peaceful protest.
In Paris, angry mobs ran through the streets, shouting and throwing rubbish bins and barriers.
The catalyst was their president's plan to raise the national retirement age from 60 to 62, still one of the lowest in Europe.
But it wasn't just pension protestors who took to the streets. The youth factor has traditionally proved a volatile element in French demonstrations and with over 300 high schools on strike there were plenty of youngsters to join in too.
In fact strikes in the last few weeks have disrupted fuel supplies, the rail network, closed shipping terminals and left rubbish piling up in the southern port of Marseille.
The government argues the national pension fund is almost broke and insists workers must work longer to pay for the fact they're they now living longer.
And it doesn't look like even those who qualify to retire will be able to take immediate advantage of a break, the unrest is also threatening to ground short and long haul aircraft.
