GUNS AND ROSES: ALBANY, NY TIMES UNION 11/23/2011 SHOW CANCELLED

MAGIC CITY PRODUCTIONS have announced that the 11/23/2011 GUNS AND ROSES show in Albany, NY @ THE TIMES UNION CENTER is cancelled due to "production issues".

The night before Thanksgiving was supposed to be the biggest party night of the year that featured Guns N’ Roses at the Times Union Center. We have bad news, Axl will be very late as in- he is not coming. G N’ R has cancelled the show and will not be rescheduling, tickets will be refunded at point of purchase. The only concert in town now is the Q103 Thanksgiving Hangover featuring Staind on Saturday.

Albany, NY – Times Union Center officials received word today that the Guns and Roses show scheduled for Wednesday, November 23rd will be cancelled.

“Due to production issues beyond the venue’s control, Magic City Productions and the Times Union Center are forced to cancel the appearance of Guns N Roses set to take place on November 23, 2011. We apologize for any inconvenience,” said Stu Green, Magic City Productions.

Refunds for will be available at the original point of purchase beginning immediately. Tickets purchased online through Ticketmaster or over the phone will automatically be refunded to the credit card used.

So…. use your refunded money to purchase tickets to the Q103 Thanksgiving Hangover featuring Staind, Egypt Central and local band Pipe Bomb Saturday night 7pm at the Washington Avenue Armory.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 day of and are available at www.ticketfly.com.

"GUNS N' ROSES will continue their tour on Friday, November 25 at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts and the remainder of the tour as scheduled."

The Albany show was called off earlier today "due to production issues beyond the venue's control," according to a statement released by Stu Green of Magic City Productions.
