Norwegian funeral doom warriors FUNERAL have sent this update on the condition of band member ANDERS EEK:

FROM FUNERAL: Just a little update from your friendly neighbourhood gravediggers!
First a little about Anders' condition. It was NOT a heart attack, but something called an Atrioventricular block. It involves the impairment of the conduction between the atria and ventricles of the heart.
And then for some good news! We would like to congratulate Mats, who became a father on Sunday! We hope that his newly born daughter will become an exellent musician one day!
