Polish death metal warriors DECAPITATED have posted a statement as the entire band have been formally charged with rape after a 8/31/2017 complaint was filed by a female fan after the bands show in Spokane, Washington. 







Piotrowski and Kieltyka  have been formally charged with second degree rape and first degree kidnapping while Lysejko and Wiecek are facing third degree rape charges with a pending court date.

 Piotrowski and Kieltyka bonds were set at $100, 000 each as they surrendered their passports to their attorneys.

All four members of Polish death metal band DECAPITATED have separate attorneys and have been told by Judge Annette Plese to NOT have any communication between band members.

Friday, 9/8/2017, all four members of Polish death metal warriors DECAPITATED were arrested after the bands show in Santa Ana, California and charged with kidnapping a fan whom had gotten on the bands tour bus in Spokane, Washington 8/31/2017.


 According to SPOKESMANREVIEW.COM, Michael Lysejko (MLODY) , drummer for Polish death metal warriors DECAPITATED was accused of raping a female fan as the allegations are being investigated. The unnamed woman has accused the band with gang rape in the bathroom of the bands tour bus after the bands 8/31/2017 show at THE PIN in Spokane, Washington.


Polish death metal warriors DECAPITATED have posted this statement in context of recent events and allegations as the band stated, "As there is uncertainty regarding a timeline for prospective proceedings and out of respect for fans and promoters, due to the severity of the claims, we have cancelled all planned touring."


STEVE GRAHAM, defense attorney for Polish death metal warriors DECAPITATED stated, "There is another side to this". We have witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit the band on her own free will and left on good terms."

An update – following extradition from California to Washington, the band has now been charged. We’d like to emphasise; the Spokane Police Department has pressed charges as procedural formality, without doing so, they would be forced to release band – this is not a conviction or any indication of guilt or innocence. Once again, we ask that everyone wait for each party’s case to be presented and await the court’s decision. With that said, whilst cases are being prepared on both sides, some facts are indisputable at this point – that the original officer who took the complaint from the accuser stated, "I do not have probable cause that a rape occurred”, and it’s taken a full 30 days to file charges, which is right up against the point at which the defendants would legally have had to be released.
The band firmly refutes the allegations and are confident that once the facts and evidence have been seen and heard, they will be released and able to return home.
Individuals who were present on the night in question with information about the case are asked to reach out to the defense lawyer, Steve Graham of Spokane, Washington.
