TOM PETTY: FLORIDA GATORS FANS HONER PETTY SINGING "I WON'T BACK DOWN"

SPORTS ILLUSTRATED reports Gainsville, Florida GATORS college football fans stood and sang TOM PETTY and THE HEARTBREAKER'S hit "I WON'T BACK DOWN" in between quarters LSU .

Also, country music star JASON ALDEAN opened NBC'S SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE with a statement about the Las Vegas tragedy and an excellent cover of TOM PETTY and THE HEARTBREAKER'S "I WON'T BACK DOWN".

On 10/2/2017, TOM PETTY of legendary U.S.A. rock legends TOM PETTY and THE HEART BREAKERS was found unconscious and unresponsive in his MALIBU, CALIFORNIA home and was taken to a Santa Monica hospital in cardiac arrest, as he was on life support and died after 8PM PST at 66.
