BEHEMOTH: APOLOGIZES FOR RUSSIAN TOUR CANCELLATION DUE TO VISA ISSUES

Polish blackened/death metal warriors BEHEMOTH have apologized for the bands recent RUSSIAN tour cancellation after the band had been DEPORTED and ordered to pay a fine of 2,000 rubles after being detained and IMPRISONED by Russian authorities regarding misfiled VISAS.

According to ZNAK.COM , it was stated BEHEMOTH VISA issues were a pretext for religous issues: "Band concerts in Tomsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk thwarted either because of the position of the local authorities, or because of the opposition of strong young men, acting on the side of the so-called "Orthodox activists."

BEHEMOTH's 5/21/2014 show at TELECLUB Yekaterinburg, Russian was cancelled as the rest of the bands Russian tour .

I feel deeply sorry for our Russian fans for they are the victims of the system… and so are we. All I can say on behalf of the band is that we'll do everything that is humanly possible to make it up to them. Sooner or later. We r not join anywhere, yet...
