BEHEMOTH: RELEASED and DEPORTED FROM RUSSIA AFTER BEING DETAINED and INCARCERATED FOR VISA VIOLATION

Polish blackened/death metal warriors BEHEMOTH have been DEPORTED and ordered to pay a fine of 2,000 rubles after being detained and IMPRISONED by Russian authorities regarding misfiled VISAS.

According to ZNAK.COM , it was stated BEHEMOTH VISA issues were a pretext for religous issues: "Band concerts in Tomsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk thwarted either because of the position of the local authorities, or because of the opposition of strong young men, acting on the side of the so-called "Orthodox activists."

BEHEMOTH's 5/21/2014 show at TELECLUB Yekaterinburg, Russian was cancelled as the rest of the bands Russian tour .
