ITP V.014 EDITORIAL: AUTOTUNE/VOCODER VS. VOCALS IN POP AND DEATH METAL

So I was walking down the street today, and I overhead some chick explain she liked some shit death/grind bands "gutterals".  although I think I over heard wich band she was talking about, if it was said band, she is retarded NOT to know the recording technique that was used to illicit, "gutturals", as few bands pull it off live.







In a nutshell, BOTH pop, r and b, radio announcers. industrial and many death metal and gore grind bands use "pitch shifters" or and autotune/ vocoder, and of course they sound like ASS, (either lip synching or screaming instead of growling) live.
My estimate, altos with proper technique do death vocals better, kids, dsbm bands and chicks do freaked out horror screams better, although both can be variable.
