SLAYER: KICK OFF U.S. TOUR WITH EXODUS and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES TONIGHT IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

California thrash legends SLAYER are set to kick off a short, but sure to be brutal U.S. tour with EXODUS and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES tonight in Salt Lake city, UTAH. SLAYER and metal webzine LOUDWIRE have announced "SCREAM FOR JEFF HANNEMAN" (on the anniversary of late SLAYER guitarist JEFF HANNEMAN's death last year), as the virtual event took place 5/2/2014, EVERYWHERE. The fan filmed HANNEMAN tribute videos are in, take a look on LOUDWIRE. On the anniversary of JEFF HANNEMAN's death, 5/2/2014, fans are prompted to scream (as SLAYER rhythm guitarist KERRY KING encouraged on notice of HANNEMAN's death last year) for JEFF HANNEMAN, film it, post it on social networks and send to LOUDWIRE for an awesome HANNEMAN tribute.. SLAYER have inked a record deal with NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS. SLAYER have also confirmed a summer 2014 (JUNE) IRISH tour and also a AUGUST 2014 RUSSIAN tour. SLAYER are also confirmed for ROCK USA FESTIVAL, set to take place 7/19/2014 Oshkosh, WISCONSIN.

SLAYER performed a new track "Implode" at the 2014 GOLDEN GODS AWARDS, the track is available for download on SLAYER's website SLAYER.NET.

SLAYER have also announced a spring 2014 MINI (WEST COAST-MID WEST) U.S. tour with California thrash legends EXODUS and California metal/core legends SUICIDAL TENDENCIES.

Expect all three bands to lay waste at ROCK ON THE RANGE 2014, set to take place 5, 16, 17, 18th @ CREW STADIUM, COLUMBUS, OHIO.

SLAYER drummer PAUL BOSTAPH has returned back to the band in replacement of DAVE LOMBARDO, whom was ousted from the band due to contract issues.

PAUL BOSTAPH left SLAYER in 2001, recording and touring with the band from 1992-2001.

SLAYER drummer DAVE LOMBARDO was suspended from playing SLAYER's Australian tour (SOUNDWAVE) because of contract and financial issues. JON DETTE (TESTAMENT) filled in for SLAYER's DAVE LOMBARDO and also ANTHRAX drummer CHARLIE BENANTE during both bands AUSTRALIAN touring commitments.

SLAYER guitarist JEFF HANNEMAN passed away 5/2/2013 from LIVER FAILURE "(Cirrhosis of The Liver").

SLAYER unleashed "World Painted Blood" 11/3//2009 on AMERICAN RECORDINGS/COLUMBIA.
