ITP V.014 SPORTS: LET's GO NY RANGERS

..and it was 20 years ago TODAY, STEPHANE MATTEAU scored the winning goal in DOUBLE OVERTIME to lift the NY RANGERS into the STANLEY CUP FINALS over the NJ DEVILS.

Beautiful moment in NYC sports history as I was home in NYC (MANHATTAN), working and coming back to college in early 1995.

TONIGHT, the NY RANGERS could close the series out vs. THE MONTREAL CANADIANS to advance to the STANLEY CUP FINALS (NY RANGERS 3-1 SERIES ADVANTAGE). Let's do this, NOW!!!!!

UPDATE: 9:24 PM EST 11:00 into second period: 4-1 MONTREAL CANADIANS advantage over NY RANGERS. GO NY RANGERS!!!! HENRIK LUNDQVIST pulled (half way through the game) to replaced by CAM TALBOT.
Now 4-2 (NY RANGERS SCORE) MONTREAL CANADIANS advantage over NY RANGERS.
4-3 as the NY RANGERS SCORE AGAIN, DEREK STEPAN now 2 goals and a broken jaw.
NY RANGERS/MONTREAL CANADIANS TIE THE GAME 4-4 and now MONTREAL answer back 5-4 (Canadians lead).
Looks like an East Coast shoot out with 4:50 in the second period.
3RD PERIOD: 7-4 MONTREAL LEAD: Rene Bourque hat trick as it's raining hats.

Bad and inconsistent officiating in this series.

The Montreal Canadians will FORCE another game, game 6, THURSDAY AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, NYC, NY as they have won GAME 5, 7-4 in MONTREAL, CANADA.
NY RANGERS UP VS. MONTREAL CANADIENS IN THE SERIES 3-2.
