ITP V.015 DIME TIME: "GETCHA PULL" REMEMBERING "DIMEBAG" DARRELL ABBOTT (PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN)

IN DARRELL ABBOTT, JOHN LENNON and JIM MORISSON WE TRUST: Today is the 11th anniversary (:shakes head:)  of the fateful day the metal world lost  "DIMEBAG" DARRELL ABBOTT  (PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN) a shredder of a guitarist, and an awesome personality, generous person, whom left an indelible mark on guitar technique and shred for generations to come.


 PANTERA are set to release "THE COMPLETE STUDIO ALBUMS" ( BOXED SET COMPILATION), due to be unleashed 12/11/2015 via RHINO RECORDS.
 PANTERA unleashed "HISTORY OF HOSTILITY" (COMPILATION), 10/30/2015 via RHINO RECORDS.

PANTERA unleashed "REINVENTING THE STEEL", 3/21/2000 EAST/WEST RECORDS.
PANTERA disbanded in 2003.

Two new compilations coming from Pantera this year!
HISTORY OF HOSTILITY, a nine-track Pantera primer that includes some of Pantera’s most legendary tracks from all five studio albums. It will be released on CD and LP on October 30.
Rhino will also be releasing a new boxed set and single disc compilation. THE COMPLETE STUDIO ALBUMS 1990-2000, compiled of Cowboys From Hell (1990), Vulgar Display Of Power (1992), Far Beyond Driven (1994), The Great Southern Trendkill (1996), and Reinventing The Steel (2000). Two versions of the collection will be released on December 11, one a 5-CD set and the other a limited edition 5-LP set on colored vinyl . The LP version of the studio albums box also includes a 7” with two rare, non-albums tracks making their vinyl debut. The first is “Piss,” a song that debuted in 2012 on the 20th Anniversary Edition of Vulgar Display of Power. The second is “Avoid The Light” from the Dracula 2000 soundtrack.

What a rockin band in rock and roll heaven, JOHN LENNON, "DIMEBAG" DARRELL ABBOTT and JIM MORRISON with PETER STEELE on bass. Also,  guest appearances from CURT COBAIN and now SCOTT WEILAND. KEITH MOON and JOHN BONHAM are on the rock and roll heaven skins.
Everyone in the metal and music scene would like to express how much DARRELL ABBOTT is missed, we're celebrating DIMEBAG's LIFE as he was an awesome guitarist and great person..
Have a black tooth grin for or/and a moment of silence for DIME BAG as he was murdered in Columbus, Ohio (2004)  by a mentally ill gun man whom he had no relation to.
R.I.P. to JOHN LENNON, whom was murdered by a psychopath today in 1980.  Also, today would have been JIM MORISSON's birthday as "MR. MOJO RISING" is celebrating his birthday with his band mate the late RAY MANZAREK (THE DOORS KEYBOARDIST).


 DARRELL ABBOTT was murdered performing for his fans, JOHN LENNON was murdered after signing autographs for fans in front of his home during a busy schedule.
These days, many artists ask for payment in exchange for autographs, and physical space between the audience and performers.. JOHN LENNON and DARRELL ABBOTT'S deaths were a betrayal of the artists trust and generosity.
