METAL GATE: INTERVIEWS (EMIR TORGUL-MERDUMGIRIZ RECORDS and VIRANESIR)

Turkish/UK based black metal project VIRANESIR has posted this interview with METALGATE on the issue of censorship and his disappointment that his project was banned from BANDCAMP (last summer) over offensive track titles.

VIRANESIR brand of black metal features (hopefully in satire) controversial song titles.

VIRANESIR  released KOAS GARDEN: "BURN THE HOMELESS" 4/16/2015 via MERDUMGIRIZ.

ITP V.015 EDITORS NOTE: ITP does not support NATIONAL SOCIALISTS, homophobia, nor fascist, nazi philosophies nor promote their music nor ideology  However, irrelevant to philosophical disagreements, I do support first amendment rights. I assume the "shock value" of VIRANESIR's track titles are the most attention he will get, over riding the musical value as a non PC "gimmick", done in satirical style that some people didn't "get". .  VIRANESIR track titles remind me of ANAL CUNT, S.O.D. lyrical satire. VIRANESIR's "gimmick" back fired as he (WAS) on a digital music server he does not OWN with rules about hate speech.
The most genuine form of expression, and real freedom of speech is done, completely independently. When playing in someones else's sandbox your are submissive to their rules.

FROM VIRANESIR (MERDUMGIRIZ WORKS):
My one hour conversation with Scott Vogler, the founder of the pro-freedom of speech ‪#‎metalgate‬ syndicate. I talk a lot about Viranesir in it. More is to come!
A new addition to the MetalGate Band YouTube channel. Featuring Emir Torgul from Merdumgiriz Works where we discuss a wide variety of topics. Will also be mirrored on his YouTube channel.
