NARGAROTH and INFIDEL AMSTERDAM: COMMENT ON RUSSIAN ORTHODOX ATTACK ON BELPHEGOR and NILE

German black metal veterans NARGAROTH and YOU TUBE metal personality INFIDEL AMSTERDAM have commented on the 4/19/2016 Russian Orthodox attack on U.S.A. death metal warriors NILE and Austrian blackened/death metal warriors BELPHEGOR in ST. PETERSBURG RUSSIA..

Anatoly Artyukh, a Russian Orthodox local government official confronted BELPHEGOR (HELMUT LEINER) for allegedly "satanist" ideology at a ST. PETERSBURG AIRPORT in RUSSIA as a scuffle nearly broke out with an anonymous Orthodox man picketing BELPHEGOR, the incident was filmed by PNA KATIOWA.

Anatoly Artyukh (Orthodox) spat on a member of BELPHEGOR (HELMUT LEINER) as the musician spat back.

Anatoly Artyukh persuaded government officials to cancel Austrian black metal band BELPHEGOR's 4/19/2016 ST. PETERSBURG RUSSIA set under blasphemy laws as NILE and local support performed as scheduled.

NILE announced SPRING 2016 RUSSIAN/UKRAINE tour dates with BELPHEGOR.

MELECHESH have cancelled out the bands anticipated RUSSIAN/UKRAINE tour with NILE and BELPHEGOR due to an injured band member.

NILE unleashed "WHAT SHOULD NOT BE UNEARTHED", 8/28/2015 via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.

BELPHEGOR unleashed "CONJURING THE DEAD", 8/8/2014 (EU, NORTH AMERICA, BRAZIL) and 8/11/2014 (UK/FRANCE) via NUCLEAR BLAST.

FROM 'Giftsvamp' (FAN): He also threatened to initiate their visa check by authorities during the gig so the band wasn't able to play the show. Problem is, the asshole is not just a common orthdox fanatic, but he also works in the city government himself, so authorities would have to react. It would mean the total cancellation of the show. Eventually Nile and local support band were the only ones who were able to perform (which didn't make things better for Belphegor).

I think the restraint that these guys have deserves respect....I wonder if I could hold myself back....but then again, you don't want to get arrested in Russia....so they did the right thing.
Here in Amsterdam people would have beaten him to pulp to end up dumping him in a canal...

Despite all tensions that might have been between Nargaroth and Belphegor in the distant past and that are solved in the meanwhile, as musician colleague I think this is an inappropriate behavior towards the band leader! Dont know whats going in on in Russia with Black Metal, but I hope Helmut raises Hell there now!
