NILE: SCUFFLE AT ST. PETERSBURG AIRPORT RUSSIA WITH ORTHODOX

South Carolina , U.S.A. death metal warriors NILE and Austrian blackened/death metal warriors BELPHEGOR have apparently run into bad luck at a ST. PETERSBURG AIRPORT in RUSSIA as a scuffle nearly broke out with an anonymous Orthodox man picketing BELPHEGOR'S allegedly "satanist" ideology as the incident was filmed by PNA KATIOWA.

The anonymous Orthodox man spat on a member of BELPHEGOR (HELMUT LEINER) as the musician spat back.

NILE announced SPRING 2016 RUSSIAN/UKRAINE tour dates with BELPHEGOR.

MELECHESH have cancelled out the bands anticipated RUSSIAN/UKRAINE tour with NILE and BELPHEGOR due to an injured band member.

NILE unleashed "WHAT SHOULD NOT BE UNEARTHED", 8/28/2015 via NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.

BELPHEGOR unleashed "CONJURING THE DEAD", 8/8/2014 (EU, NORTH AMERICA, BRAZIL) and 8/11/2014 (UK/FRANCE) via NUCLEAR BLAST.

The European tour is done . What an insane great tour it has been.
Melechesh however will not be doing the Russian mini tour and will postpone their appearance there due to an arm ( nerve) injury of Ashmedi. We wish Nile and Belphegor the best.

I want to apologize for what happened in Russia, St. Petersburg today. Radical Orthodox movement is gaining power. But the fact is, they're bandits and scum. These bastards have already ruined several shows in Russia, including Cannibal Corpse, Batushka, Cradle of Filth, Behemoth and Marilyn Manson gigs. We, the fans, cannot deal with these motherfuckers as they deserve to be dealt with, since our authorities support them. I apologize for this shit again. P.S.: Helmut, it was a nice punch!
